Chapter 3: Trade Management

Feb 7, 2025

Profit Exit

  • TrendCe: Trade exits if the TrendCe signal flips color, indicating momentum is turning against the position.

  • Bar Color: Trade exits if a bullish bar closes red (for longs) or a bearish bar closes green (for shorts).

  • SuperTrend: Trade exits if the price closes above or below the SuperTrend line.

Risk Management

  • Bar Stop Loss: Sets the initial stop loss based on the lowest low (for longs) or highest high (for shorts) over the last N bars.

  • Tick Stop Loss: Sets a fixed number of ticks from the entry price.

  • Swing Stop Loss: Identifies the most recent swing high/low and places a stop slightly beyond it.

  • Trailing Stop Loss: Activates once a predefined profit threshold is reached, adjusting stop levels upward (for longs) or downward (for shorts).

  • Break-Even Stop: Moves the stop to the entry price (with an optional offset) once a trade reaches a certain reward/risk ratio.

  • Daily Loss Limit: Halts further entries after the account reaches a predefined daily PnL drawdown.

  • Daily Loss Count Limit: Pauses new entries if the strategy experiences a user-defined number of consecutive losing trades.

Customization

Our strategy offers robust risk management and profit exit options that users can customize.

Each trade's exit conditions are dynamic. Through built-in signals, we ensure exits occur at the most optimal time based on current market conditions.

The goal is to minimize potential losses and maximize potential gains, achieving a high dynamic risk-reward ratio.
